Freeze or unfreeze your Pleo card

Freezing a card temporarily blocks it so no new card payments can go through. It’s useful if your card is lost, you suspect fraud, or you want to pause spending.

Freezing is temporary. If your card is lost or you think it’s been compromised, freeze it right away — then follow the in-app steps to report it and take any further action needed.

Freeze a card

If you’re a cardholder

  1. In the Pleo app, go to Cards
  2. Select the card you want to freeze
  3. Tap Freeze

If you’re an admin

You can freeze a card for any cardholder - this immediately blocks new payments on that card.

  1. In the Pleo web app, go to People
  2. Select the cardholder’s profile
  3. Select the card you want to freeze
  4. Click Freeze

Unfreeze a card
