Pleo sends a 6-digit SMS code as part of its two-factor authentication (2FA) login flow. You'll be asked to enter it each time you log in to the Pleo app or web platform.
There are a few things you can try if you are not receiving the 6-digit SMS code to log in:
- Check if you see the last two digits of your phone number
- The 2 digits are not of my current phone number
Reach out to your Admin and request that they reset your authentication method. - The 2 digits are correct - Continue to the next step
- The 2 digits are not of my current phone number
- Restart your phone
- Test if you're getting other text messages
Ask someone to send you an SMS to make sure you are receiving other messages. If you are not, reach out to your phone provider for assistance. - Attempt to log in again
- Toggle airplane mode on and off while waiting for the SMS
- Wait for 10 minutes for the SMS to be delivered
- Change to authenticator app
If you are still not receiving the SMS code, reach out to your admin and ask them to change your login method to authenticator app by resetting your 2-factor authentication.
We recommend using Google Authenticator or Authy authenticator apps
Good to know: SMS codes expire after 10 minutes. If your code has expired, return to the login screen and request a new one before trying again.
