How to change the Description field contents

By default, Description and Comment fields in Business Central are filled in with 3 datapoints:

  • Note
  • Supplier name
  • Pleo user name (person who made an expense/card owner)


  1. In Business Central, access Pleo Integration Setup
  2. Open Configurations
  3. Find Description
    • To add a datapoint:
      1. Press the three-dotted sign
      2. Select the desired datapoint by clicking on it 
      3. Click OK
    • To remove a datapoint, click on the field and manually erase a datapoint


Good to know: You can also write any text in the field, which will then appear in the Description and Comment fields for all exported expenses (do NOT add [ ] for the free text you write).
