If you think your card is missing, or you suspect someone may have your card details, you can secure it by freezing it temporarily or replacing it permanently.
- Freeze is temporary — it stops new payments until you unfreeze the card
- Replace is permanent — it disables the old card and gives you a new one
How to choose between freeze and replace
- If you can’t find your card, freeze it first
- If your card is lost or stolen, replace it
- If you see a transaction you don’t recognise, freeze your card immediately and then report the transaction in the app
- If you believe your card details were exposed (e.g. through a scam), replace your card
