Benefit allowance (UK and Sweden)

Admins or extended-access controllers can enable benefit allowances 


  1. Click Settings
  2. Click Benefit allowance
  3. Assign a category
  4. Add a standard allowance (per person, per year)


Good to know:

  • You can only set up one benefit allowance.
  • Only yearly allowances running from 1 Jan to 31 Dec are supported.
  • If relevant, you can add custom allowances per employee (useful for part-time employees and/or mid-year hires).
  • You can download expenses made on that category by filtering by the category used for the allowance.


What happens on the user side

  • You can view your benefit allowance in the Pleo mobile app under the Account tab (smiley icon).
  • You can mark an expense (card and out of pocket) as part of your benefit allowance by adding the concerned category (if you're not sure which category to use, please contact your admin).
