If you have entered the wrong PIN code three times, your Pleo card will be blocked as a safety precaution. Before you can use it again, you need to reset your PIN attempts.
What happens when you enter the wrong PIN multiple times
If you enter the wrong PIN code 3 times in a row, your Pleo card is automatically blocked to protect your account from unauthorised use. When this happens:
- You can’t make payments with your physical card until you reset your PIN attempts
- Your card is not permanently blocked — you just need to reset the attempt counter
- You can’t change your PIN code — resetting only clears the failed attempts (it does not let you set a new PIN)
Reset PIN attempts
Option 1 — Pleo mobile app (recommended)
- Go to Account in the Pleo mobile app
- Navigate to Security
- Tap Card PIN
- Select Reset PIN attempts
Option 2 — Pleo web app
- Log in at app.pleo.io
- Go to My cards
- Select your physical card
- Click Reset PIN attempts
If you can’t remember your PIN
Learn how to find your PIN in the Pleo app and never share it with anyone.
