Reset PIN attempts

If you have entered the wrong PIN code three times, your Pleo card will be blocked as a safety precaution. Before you can use it again, you need to reset your PIN attempts.

Resetting your PIN attempts will not change your PIN code. It only unlocks the card, allowing you to use your existing PIN again. Changing your PIN is not possible.

What happens when you enter the wrong PIN multiple times

If you enter the wrong PIN code 3 times in a row, your Pleo card is automatically blocked to protect your account from unauthorised use. When this happens:

  • You can’t make payments with your physical card until you reset your PIN attempts
  • Your card is not permanently blocked — you just need to reset the attempt counter
  • You can’t change your PIN code — resetting only clears the failed attempts (it does not let you set a new PIN)

Reset PIN attempts
