If the Pleo web app is slow, doesn’t load properly, or buttons don’t work as expected, try the steps below.
Before you start
Ensure your internet connection is stable before troubleshooting. If you are using a work device, please be aware that IT security settings—such as firewalls, ad blockers, or specific privacy configurations—may prevent Pleo from loading correctly.
For the best experience, use the latest version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari.
Technical troubleshooting steps
To resolve loading issues or unresponsive buttons, follow these steps:
1) Try a private window (Incognito/InPrivate)
Sometimes the issue is caused by cookies, cached data, or a browser extension.
- Open a private window (Incognito/InPrivate)
- Open Pleo and log in again
- If Pleo works in a private window, the issue is likely caused by cookies/cache or an extension
2) Clear cache and cookies
Clearing cache and cookies can fix:
- Pages that don’t load correctly
- Buttons that don’t respond
- Pages that don’t update properly
After clearing cache and cookies:
- Fully close your browser
- Reopen your browser
- Open Pleo and log in again
3) Disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers)
Some extensions can block parts of Pleo from loading.
- Temporarily disable extensions (especially ad blockers, privacy blockers, and script blockers)
- Reload Pleo and log in again
- If the issue is fixed, re-enable extensions one by one to find which one is causing the problem
4) Optional checks if Pleo is slow
If the web app is loading slowly, try these quick checks:
- Close unused tabs and browser windows, then reload Pleo.
- Try again in a private window (Incognito/InPrivate) to rule out extension-related slowdowns.
