Auto top-up (recommended)
Auto top-up allows you to automatically top-up your wallet when your balance falls below the set-up threshold or on a specific schedule (for euro currency countries).
To set up Auto top-up:
- Go to Wallet
- In the Auto top-up Banner, click Activate Auto top-up
- Enter the threshold and top-up amounts
- UK only:Choose top-up method:
- For Instant Auto top-up: Select your bank from the list
Expected top-up time: within minutes - For Direct debit: Click Setup Auto Top-up with Direct Debit
Expected top-up time: up to 5 business days
- For Instant Auto top-up: Select your bank from the list
- Follow the on-screen prompts
Good to know:
- If the auto top-up option is not visible, this means you are not eligible. To become eligible:
- Your company has to be incorporated for at least 18 months or have been approved to use Pleo for at least 3 months
- Your company has to reach our eligibility spend level in card transactions, invoices and out-of-pocket expenses.
- If you have Pleo Overdraft enabled, you can have a negative threshold for your Auto top-up
- For Denmark: You need to submit a Mastercard Overførselsservice before you can set up auto top-up.
One time transfer
- Navigate to Wallet
- Click Top-up
- Select Bank transfer
- Follow the instructions:
- Instant top-up (UK, FR, NL only): Select your bank to make a transfer through open banking
Expected top-up time: within minutes - (FR & NL - business days only) - Top-up through Plaid (US only): Connect to your bank account through plaid
Expected top-up time: 4 business days
- Manual transfer:
If you don't see the payment details right away, click Bank transfer details.
Expected top-up time: within the next business day (depending on your bank and chosen payment method)
Note: The transfer must be from an EEA or UK bank account (for EU) or a US bank account (for US) registered with the same company name as your Pleo account. Transfers from personal bank accounts or institutions where sender details are unreadable or do not match your account name will not be accepted.
- Instant top-up (UK, FR, NL only): Select your bank to make a transfer through open banking
Your first Wallet top-up or top-ups from a different bank account will take a few business days to arrive, because Pleo needs to verify your bank account.
For Swedish organisations: After passing the top-up threshold account, account admins will receive a request to provide a document from their online banking (including your bank account number and organisation name) to verify the account. If the document is not provided within 11 business days any Pleo spending will be blocked.
